Dave worked his way up from an entry level position within the IT Department to a management role at Lambton College. Dave attended the Alumni Golf Tournament and Corks, Caps & Cuisine which he really enjoyed. He wanted to give back to his College and thought the Alumni Board would be the perfect opportunity to do that.
Josh has held a variety of positions including a Portuguese Navy Officer, Dairy Plant Manager, Brewing Company General Manager and Lambton College Professor. Josh became actively involved as the rep for the Retirees Club as he believes that the work done by the Board is very important as students and graduates are the raison d’etre of the College.
Crystal co-founded Sarnia-Lambton’s first LGBTQ+ youth drop-in, spoke at the Rainbow Health Ontario 2015 Conference and presented at the National GSA forum for the past two years. Crystal wants to keep up to date on Alumni news and events and continue to give back to her alma mater.
Garrett used his education to kick-start his career at Express Employment Professionals where he creates training and development opportunities and served on the Online Strategy Task Force. Missing the College atmosphere, Garrett feels that the Alumni Board is a great way to connect with both alumni and current students, and hopefully give something back along the way.
Danielle has extensive experience in marketing and communications. She worked at the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, Lambton College, The Lambton College Foundation and Alumni Association, and as an adjunct faculty member. Danielle wanted to be directly involved in the process of keeping graduates connected after graduation and saw the Alumni Board as the perfect opportunity to do just that.
Al enjoys his work as a Consultant to Small Businesses and has spent eight years as a Winemaker. After organizing the annual golf tournament as a student employee in the Alumni Office, Al wanted to give back to Lambton College and stay involved with the Alumni Association.
Hired at Suncor during her co-op placement, Rebecca worked as an operator in the Hydrocracker then moved into the Training Coordinator position. Rebecca originally got involved with the Alumni Association as a Mentor in the Mentorship Program. Rebecca enjoys being able to give back to the institution that helped her to have the career she has today.
Shannon began her career in real estate as an Administrative Assistant and licensed Realtor. She then went on to work at The Lambton College Foundation and Alumni Association and the Lambton College Accounting Department. Shannon wanted to be a bigger part of Lambton College as she believes that what is being done is very important to both current and past students and the community of Sarnia-Lambton.
Starting as a work study student in Lambton College’s Financial Aid Office, Kim worked her way up in the Admissions Office to her current position of Associate Registrar. Kim’s fantastic professors instilled in her that the relationships and the connections we have with one another are so important and it was this belief that led Kim to become involved with the Alumni Board.
While a student at Lambton College, Anthony was elected SAC President. During his term, he signed the long-term partnership with SAC in support of the new Athletics & Fitness Complex. Anthony got involved in the Alumni Board to help bridge the gap between the current students of Lambton College and alumni.
John has been involved with the College for a number of years, acting as the Chair of Lambton College’s Board of Governors where he helped hire the current President and develop the existing strategic plan. After John’s term ended, he wanted to stay involved with the College and when the Alumni Board had a Community Representative opening it aligned perfectly.
Margaret is a founding member of The Lambton College Alumni Association and brings with her an 18 year career in the local petrochemical industry. Margaret is passionate about the work that the Board does in support of Lambton College’s alumni.
