PROGRAM INFORMATION

Join us for our next Information Session on Tuesday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m. in N107.

This 35-week program will prepare students to install, maintain, manage, design and enhance computer networks. Curriculum also prepares students for the CompTIA A+ and the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Server Administrator and Enterprise Administrator certifications. Full versions of various software programs are provided to students as part of the program.

Class sizes encourage individualized instruction by a faculty of professionals. This hands-on program places strong emphasis on preparing students with the skills they need to start a new career. This program is made up of 11 modules that can be completed as a whole or can be completed as stand-alone modules.

A ten-week industry based co-op placement is a necessary component for graduation.

Please Note: This program is not OSAP eligible. Applications must be completed directly through Lambton College and not ontariocolleges.ca. For financing options please contact the Computer Training Centre.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

O.S.S.D. or equivalent

Mature applicants must be at least 19 years of age by the start of classes and be out of secondary school for at least one year. Mature applicant testing is available in the Counselling Department. The test(s) will demonstrate equivalency in required admission subjects. For more information please contact the Counselling Department at ext 3412.
