International students should be advised that it can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to be approved for a Canadian Visa. Make sure you apply well in advance of your program start date to ensure you have all of the required documentation.
When accepted to a program at Lambton College, each student will receive a Letter of Acceptance. This letter must be submitted to the Canadian Visa Office in his/her country. Proof of payment may improve your chances of obtaining a Visa.
If you decide once you have started your studies at Lambton College that you would like to extend your study permit or apply for an off-campus or post-graduate work permit, the International Student Office can assist with this process.
