Welcome Adult Learners

  • It's never too late to apply to college or change your career path. At Lambton College, we can help get you started on your educational journey whether you've been out of school for a year or 40 years.

    What is a Mature Student?

Don't fear the term "mature student" or "adult learner"; all that means is that you have been out of high school for at least one year, you're 19 years of age or older and may or may not have a high school diploma. These terms could apply to a variety of applicants.

    Easing into Adult Education

At Lambton College we are committed to making your transition to college as smooth as possible. We are available in-person, online, and on the phone. Schedule an in-person Program Advising appointment with our Enrolment Team for a personalized one-on-one to answer your questions and get assistance with the application process.

Not sure where to begin? Attend a Return to Learn info session and we'll start you on the path to post-secondary education. A Return to Learn info session is specifically designed to meet the needs of adult learners. You'll meet our enrolment team, Financial Aid officers, faculty and support staff to ensure your adult education journey is a success.

  • We'll pay the college application fee at Return to Learn info sessions
