The three-year University of Windsor Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies is a multidisciplinary general degree program for students who desire a university education combining a solid academic core grounded widely in the social sciences, arts, sciences, and business. This program embodies the character of a traditional liberal arts education set in a contemporary academic and social context. Critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills are all key components of this degree. The Conference Board of Canada states that these are the essential employability skills for the future.

The University of Windsor will grant the degree and the courses will be delivered at Lambton College in Sarnia.

O.S.S.D. or equivalent with:
Six Grade 12 courses U or M including English 4U

Employers tell us that they seek out people who can think critically and creatively, analyze information, solve problems, and communicate effectively. All of these are key components of the program. From here successful students may apply to the Faculty of Education (Primary-Junior) or move into general and honours B.A. programs with specific majors. Programs available at the University of Windsor campus include the following:

This program is not eligible for Second Career or other programs under the Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities (MTCU) - Employment & Training Division.

While the physical demands of the classroom theory courses are not great, the demands of particular courses may be significant.

For example, computer-based courses may require digital dexterity, technology courses may require manual dexterity and laboratory courses will require good eyesight.

Students must read and abide by course prerequisites and skill requirements under the program description from where the course is taken.

Some students with disabilities may require academic accommodation to equalize opportunities to meet the academic demands of a course or program.

There are currently no transfer agreements for this program.
