Lambton College understands that as a guidance counsellor, you have a lot of post-secondary program information to sift through throughout the school year. That is why we are always working hard to offer you informative events and forums.
Each year we host two Counsellors’ Forums and we also host a number of events geared towards high school students. By having a Lambton College event at your school or by sending students to events at the College, you’re providing your students with first-hand information about one of the many post-secondary education opportunities available to them.

Upcoming Events:
Classroom Visits
Beginning in January, Lambton College starts visiting classrooms. These presentations are unlike our fall visits because we actually cater each presentation to the subject being taught. Invite us in to talk about how your subject matter can be applied to careers and college programs.
Grade 11-12 Tour Days – May 7, 8, 9, 10
Just like Grade 12 Tour Days but geared towards younger students, Lambton will pay for your buses and host Grade 11 and undecided Grade 12 students for a day. It is a great way to encourage students to start planning early and to find out what programs and careers are available to them at the College level.
Counsellors' Forum – May 2, 2012
Meet with our Deans, faculty and students to find out what is new, changing and staying the same at Lambton. Also, tour the facility and discover all the possibilities Lambton can offer your students.
Road Shows
Each fall, we visit between eight and 10 high schools and we bring with us a number of faculty and students. We set up in a gym, cafeteria or atrium and we basically host a mini Open House to students and they never have to leave their high school. The best part about the Road Shows is that all students are welcome to attend from Grade 9 to Grade 12.
Grade 12 Tour Days – November/December
Lambton hosts a day of exploring for Grade 12 students. Students are bused in from local and non-local schools and are given a taste of what College programs have to offer. The best part about this event is that LAMBTON COVERS THE COST OF BUSES.
