Proof of English Proficiency, varying depending on program/level of entry. (To see if you exempt from this requirement, please check the admission requirements)
Step 3: Payment of Application Fee
No application fee is charged (the fee is waived) for students that register and attend classes at Lambton College or for whom a Canadian study permit is denied.
For students that withdraw and request a refund prior to or during the first 10 days of the beginning of a semester at Lambton College, an application fee of $750 is applied to their account.
Also, in an effort to make study permits for students applying to Lambton College more obtainable (higher visa approval rates), we strongly recommend that all prospective international students make a prepayment of approximate first year tuition fees ($11,000). Tuition fees vary from program to program; therefore, the $11,000 prepayment is just an estimate of the cost of one year’s tuition fees.

The refund process takes 30 days to process and is only completed once all verifications have been finalized.
Other Important Notes:
- Lambton College will assess your ability in the English language when you arrive at the College. A low level at this time will not prevent you from entering the program, but may require you to take supplementary English language training during your first semester.
- In programs where there is a mathematics or science pre-requisite, the College may assess your abilities in these areas when you arrive at the College. A low level of ability at this time will not prevent you from entering the program, but may require you to take supplementary training during your first semester.
- We strongly recommend that you arrive in Sarnia at least 1 week in advance. This will provide us enough time to help you settle in, before the semester begins. During these 2 weeks we will be having an orientation to Lambton College, Sarnia, and Canada.
- There is a $50 charge for late payment of tuition. There is also a $200.00 charge for expedited refund requests.
- Lambton College International Students do not have to apply to the Ontario College Application Service (OCAS). The Lambton College International Office will complete this process on behalf of each student once we have received your application fee.
