    The Student Services department provides academic support and advising assistance to Lambton in Toronto international students. Walk-in hours are from Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Students who are unavailable during these times can make an appointment at an alternative time via e-mail to

    Study/Work Permit Advice & Counselling

    Lambton College in Toronto has retained the services of Mr Hamid Motekallem and Ms Helen Michaelidou. Mr Motekallem and Ms Michaelidou are immigration consultants who are members of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).

    Hamid and Helen visit Lambton College in Toronto to assist students with initial advice and consultation regarding study, work permits and other issues surrounding Citizenship and Immigration Canada. The schedules for Hamid and Helen are detailed below:

    • Hamid is available every Monday from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and Thursdays and Fridays from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. He can also be contacted by e-mail at

    Students must use their mylambton e-mail address in order to receive replies and services. Students must also state the program they are registered in at Lambton College in Toronto and may be requested to supply a scanned copy of their Lambton College student ID card or study permit prior to receiving advice.

    For students who require ongoing, professional legal representation, Hamid and Helen charge fees. These fees however, are significantly discounted for Lambton College in Toronto students. Students are required to consult directly with Hamid or Helen for these specific fees.

    Academic Tutoring Services

    Academic tutoring is available through the Student Services department upon request. Students are expected to pay a small fee for this service. Registered students can receive assistance in understanding concepts, study skills, test preparation, test review and help with assignments. Students are paired with an expert instructor and Lambton in Toronto subsidizes the tutoring costs so that these services are both affordable and accessible to interested students.
