Lean Manufacturing Part II

  • Description

This course takes a broad view of Lean manufacturing systems, introducing you to several fundamental concepts and skills that can help you solve problems, identify waste, and drive continuous improvement in your business, service, or manufacturing operations.  Join us for discussion, case studies, and active learning activities to gain experience working with Lean practices.

This course is divided into two mornings.  During the first morning, you will have the opportunity to develop a work plan so that you can return to work with a plan to test Lean practices.  The second morning, you will be able to reflect on how your test plan worked out with additional Lean concepts; then we will utilize this insight to revise your work plan for further implementation in your workplace.

Participants may be eligible to receive a Canada-Ontario Job Grant if registered for 4 of the 5 courses offered in the Manufacturing Innovation Workshop Series.
