The Criminal Mind, Board of Governors certificate program is designed for individuals who are working or volunteering in corrections, law enforcement, youth at risk, or simply those who have an interest in criminal psychology and behaviour.
Program curriculum focuses on why people think and act as they do and why a person potentially becomes involved in criminal activity. Program curriculum explores how and why some individuals become serial killers, stalkers and predators.
The latest strategies for criminal profiling and questioning are examined, and students explore the effects of drugs, alcohol and rehabilitation strategies as they relate to criminology.
