ATTN: Full-time students, this synchronous 40-hour APCO workshop is offered on two weekends in the Fall and in the Spring. The course runs a total of 5 - 8 hour days. Attendance is mandatory and students are required to be present all 5 days. The synchronous course is included in the full-time tuition of the EMEF program. (Upcoming dates are September 25,26,27 and October 3 and 4 - 8:00-5:00).
Alternatively, part-time students can register in an APCO Public Safety Telecommunicator course via the APCO International website. Please review the instructions on myLambton D2L to learn how to register. This course is completed directly through APCO International. Students pay APCO International for the cost of this course. Upon successful completion (*A grade of 80% on the final exam is required to receive the APCO certificate. Students receive certification, which must be uploaded to the dropbox in this course. Please note that the Canadian version of this course is not guaranteed to be offered each semester. We recommend that you participate in the synchronous version.
