Funding Options

OSAP Loans

The Ontario Student Assistance Program is a financial aid program that makes it easier for student to fund their college dreams. The program offers funding for post-secondary education through two kinds of money:

  • Grants – money you don’t have to pay back
  • Loans – money you do have to pay back

Ontario's Learn & Stay Grant

This new grant launched in the Spring of 2023. Students entering the first or second year of either the Bachelor of Science - Nursing or Practical Nursing programs have the opportunity to receive full, up-front funding for tuition, books, and other direct educational costs.

To receive this grant, you are required to work in the region where you studied for a minimum of six months for every year you were funded by the grant.

There are several scholarships and bursaries at Lambton College that many students aren’t aware of. After you’ve chosen Lambton College, it is recommended that you start looking at all the scholarship and bursary options.

On-Campus Employment

Juggling a part-time job before, after, and in-between classes can be a challenge.

Students at Lambton College can apply for on-campus employment through either the Work Study or Employment Between Academic Terms programs. These positions financially assist students, develop valuable career skills, and make it easier to work around your class schedule.

Tuition & Fee Deferral for Military-Connected Students

Lambton College supports the transition of honourably released Canadian Armed Forces service members into civilian life through educational opportunities. Eligible military-connected students can apply for the Veterans Affairs Canada Education and Training Benefit (ETB).
