This online competency-based Micro-credential is designed to introduce learners to the importance of providing client centered care and support to prevent wounds and various skin health conditions. You will learn about skin tears, pressure ulcers and pressure point injuries that are often seen in the individuals you will be supporting as a Person Support Worker. The goal is to prevent these wounds and skin conditions from worsening by implementing various preventative measures. We will be exploring these preventive measures in this Micro-credential.
