This intermediate accounting course focuses on financial reporting and accounting concepts and begins to look at the asset side of the balance sheet. Topics surveyed include the conceptual framework underlying financial reporting, reporting financial performance, reporting financial position and revenue recognition. Topics explored on assets include cash and receivables, inventory, and investments. After completing this intermediate accounting course, students will be able to apply this knowledge to identify, measure and communicate financial information.
