This is an introductory course in process instrumentation and safety. Topics will include: instrumentation handling safety, electrical and mechanical shop practices, blueprint reading, overview of instruments, and wiring. The laboratory component will expose the student to the correct use and operation of equipment associated with sensors and measuring instrument.
