General Carpenter


Program Information

This program is designed to provide technical knowledge and hands-on experiences to maximize performance in the construction industry. This program follows the current curriculum set out by the Ontario College of Trades (OCOT) and in accordance with the Ministry of Technology, Colleges and Universities (MTCU).

Admission Requirements

O.S.S.D. or equivalent

This is an apprenticeship program.
You cannot apply to this program through

Applicants need a sponsor/employer and must register through the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD).

Applicants that are registered as an apprentice in a trade should receive a letter from the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD) inviting them to apply for schooling. All applications from that point will need their payment processed by the Office of the Registrar & Financial Aid Services at Lambton College.

If you are a registered apprentice and have not received a letter regarding apprenticeship schooling then contact your local MLTSD office.
