Enactus Lambton Returns to Enactus World Exposition to Defend World Cup

September 17, 2019

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA, September 17, 2019 – The life changing work of Enactus Lambton has earned them a return ticket to the Enactus World Cup.

The innovative student group, who took home the World Cup in October 2018, is back in San Jose, California this week where the team hopes to defend their title through rounds of live presentation discussing their work in Zambia, Africa.

Following victories at both the Enactus Regional and National Expositions, where they competed against more than 60 colleges and universities from across the country to take the top spot, the group of young leaders now finds themselves back on the global stage this week.

The three-day event is set to welcome more than 3,400 delegates including university and college students from 36 countries as well as academic professionals, and business leaders.

The Enactus Lambton team hopes to once again wow the judges, and their competition, with their transformative work in Zambia, Africa, which has changed the lives of more than 35,000 people.

Lambton remains the first college to represent Canada at this event since the organization’s inception.
