Lambton College to Host First Virtual Return to Learn Session of 2021

SARNIA, January 27, 2021 - Individuals who are interested in applying to Lambton College for September will have the opportunity to learn more about the process and what they can do to prepare for the Fall Term during an upcoming virtual information session.

On Wednesday, February 3 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Lambton will host its first Virtual Return to Learn session of the year. The drop-in style event is open to all interested students who might have questions about Lambton College programs, the application process, and even what College may look like in the fall.

The session will cover a variety of topics related to applying and returning to school, including commonly asked questions on subjects such as:

  • Program Information
  • Admission Requirements
  • Application Process
  • Financial Aid
  • Second Career Funding
  • Academic Upgrading
  • Online Learning
  • Remote Learning
  • COVID-19 Changes and Updates

The event will be hosted via Microsoft Teams. All attendees will also have a chance to ask specific questions and will be entered into a draw to win a $100 Amazon gift card.

Members of Lambton's knowledgeable Enrolment Team will be on hand to help any interested students complete their ontariocolleges.ca application form - with Lambton covering the cost of the $95 application fee.

In addition to the upcoming Return to Learn, Lambton's Enrolment Team has prepared a variety of informative virtual offerings to help incoming students get the information they need to make a safe and informed decision about college - all accessible from the comfort of their personal device.

The new line-up of digital offerings includes:

  • Apply to Lambton College on-the-spot via Live Chat. For the month of Febuary, the Enrolment Team will host all-day drop-in sessions for any interested students. Lambton College will pay the $95 application fee for any students who express an interest to apply during Live Chat accessible via lambtoncollege.ca.

    Live Chat Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. , Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Explore Lambton's world-class learning environments via Livestream Campus Tours, taking place every other Tuesday at 2 p.m. until March 23. Tour guests will have the opportunity to see how new additions such as the NOVA Chemicals Health & Research Centre and Athletics & Fitness Complex have dramatically transformed the campus and enhanced the student experience at the College.

  • One-on-one Program Advising Sessions are also available daily from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Lambton's Program Advisors are available via Microsoft Teams to help with anything related to program information, the application process, Residence, student services, and financial aid.
