Empowering Her: From Silence to Empowerment in Relationships

Join us for a presentation by Manvir Bhangu, Founder & Executive Director of Laadliyan. Laadliyan, Celebrating & Empowering Daughters, is a non-profit organization that inspires South Asian girls and women of all ages to become empowered individuals through engagement, education, and awareness.

On November 8, Manvir Bhangu will be exploring how individual and cultural differences affect relationships, all through a restorative justice lens.

Topics discussed include:

  • Discussions about recognizing and respecting the diverse, cultural backgrounds of participants.
  • Spotting signs of sexual violence, your legal rights, and protections in Canada
  • Resources and support services available at Lambton College and in our local community

Dive into vital conversations about building and maintaining health relationships.

This session is open to all students and the Sarnia community. Students can receive co-curricular credit for attending.
