The Lambton College Indigenous Student Council and Indigenous Student Centre will be hosting their Pow Wow on Thursday, April 2 in the College’s Cestar Group Athletics & Fitness Complex. The yearly celebration will feature dancers in full regalia, traditional arts and crafts, and singing and dancing. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the Pow Wow celebration and discover what it means to First Nation people.
Doors open to the public at 10 a.m. and the grand entry will open the cultural event at 11 a.m. with all dancers entering the dance circle for the first time. The festivities will continue until 3 p.m.
Admission to the Pow Wow is free and the public is welcome to attend.
