This award was established in memory of Jean Tayles, who passed away in 2014.
Eligible Programs
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this award, students must:
- Have been registered on a full-time basis in year one of the Practical Nursing program at Lambton College
- Have returned on a full-time basis to year two of the Practical Nursing program in the following academic year
- Have completed their first academic year with passing grades in all courses and with a minimum program GPA of 2.7 or greater
- Demonstrate an exceptionally caring nature towards patients during clinical placement

Selection Process
At the completion of the first year of the program, a list of students meeting the minimum GPA requirement will be forwarded to the program coordinator.
The recipient is to be selected by their faculty based on the above criteria.
