Suncor Trevor Daye Memorial Award

The Suncor Trevor Daye Memorial Award is endowed award that was created by Suncor to honour the memory of Trevor Daye, a former Lambton College student.

Eligible Programs

• CPET - Chemical Production & Power Engineering Technology
• CPEX - Chemical Production & Power Engineering Technology - Accelerated

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have completed year one and year two (four academic terms) of the Chemical Production and Power Engineering Technology (CPET) program.
• Must have obtained a minimum program G.P.A. of 3.0.
• Must have received a passing grade or credit in all required courses.
• Must be returning to the CPET program in the next scheduled academic term.
• Must demonstrate an involvement in community activities. These activities can take place inside or outside of the college community.
• Must be an Ontario resident, as per the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP).
• Must be a Canadian citizen, landed immigrant or Protected Person.
• Open to Lambton College students, Sarnia campus.

Selection Process

• Student Awards Coordinator will verify the eligibility of all applicants.
• After the deadline, the Student Awards Coordinator will assemble a scholarship committee in order to assess and evaluate all candidates.
• Applications will be ranked using the following weighting:

• 40% - Academic
• 40% - Community Involvement
• 20% - Financial Need
