Jim Stokley Scholarship

The Jim Stokley Scholarship will be awarded to two individuals that show the same characteristics Jim himself valued. It will not simply go to the students with the highest grades, but the ones with the biggest hearts.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person
• Must be attending Lambton College as a full-time student in the upcoming academic year
• Incoming and returning students are eligible
• Must have a minimum college GPA of 2.7 (B-) or a high school average of 70% in top 6 senior courses (Grade 11 & 12)
• Students of Lambton College, Sarnia Campus

Selection Process

• Student Award Coordinator will verify the eligibility of all applicants. 

• After the deadline, the Financial Aid Consultant will assemble a scholarship committee in order to assess and evaluate all candidates. 

The following weighting system is used when choosing a recipient:

• 60% - Community/Extracurricular Involvement
• 20% - Academics
• 20% - Financial Need
