Patricia M. Carter Nursing Award

The Patricia Carter Award was established in 2019 to support students entering the nursing field. The donor's daughter is an alumnus of the Lambton College nursing program. 

Eligible Programs

• BSNL - Honours Bachelor of Science - Nursing
• BSNB - Registered Practical Nursing Bridging to Honours Bachelor of Science - Nursing
• PRAC - Practical Nursing

Eligibility Criteria

• Student must have completed the first year of the BSNL or PRAC program and be a full-time student at Lambton College.  
• Student must have completed the first year with a minimum program GPA of at least 2.4 (77%-79%) and be returning in the next academic term.  
• The recipient will be someone who sees the patient as an individual, and is thoughtful in his/her approach, someone who is kind, empathetic and professional, well organized and able to apply theory to clinical situations and demonstrated the ability to work with all personnel.
