Eligible Programs
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this award students must:
- Have completed the first year of either the Police Foundations or Protection, Security & Investigations program on a full-time basis and be returning to the same program of study in the next academic term
- Demonstrate a public service philosophy and a desire to give something back to the community
- Have completed volunteer work or work placement(s) relating to public safety or criminal justice
- Attain a minimum program GPA of 3.0
Application Details
Selection Process
Upon the completion of the first full academic year (fall and winter terms), the Office of the Registrar & Financial Aid Services will provide a list of students who have met the minimum GPA requirements to the program coordinators.
The program coordinators will select one male and one female candidate based on eligibility requirements.
Only in the event that there is not one eligible male and female candidate will the awards be issued to either both male or both female students.
