Plains Midstream Dave Wardell Memorial Scholarship

This award is reserved for students in select technology programs, who can demonstrate both academic success and leadership acumen.

Eligible Programs

• MTIM - Millwright Mechanical Technician
• CPET - Chemical Production & Power Engineering Technology
• ICTN - Automation & Instrumentation Technician
• CPEX - Chemical Production & Power Engineering Technology - Accelerated
• ICET - Automation and Instrumentation Technology

Eligibility Criteria

• Student must have completed at least 1 year and be registered on a full-time basis in any of the above mentioned programs. 
• The student must be returning to their program with a full-time course load in the following year, following the regular program path.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
• Student must demonstrate meaningful leadership skills through volunteer work or paid employment experiences.
• Open to Lambton College students, Sarnia campus

Selection Process

• Student Awards Coordinator will verify the eligibility of all applicants.
• After the deadline, the Student Awards Coordinator will assemble a scholarship committee in order to assess and evaluate all candidates.
• Applications will be ranked using the following weighting:
  • 50% Academics
  • 50% Leadership Skills
