In 2008, upon being selected as the recipient of the Premier's Award, Carol-Lynn Chambers established this scholarship to aid female fire students.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a female student who is currently registered with a full-time course load in PFET and be returning in the next academic term.
- Be able to provide the most recent transcript (high school or post-secondary)
- Must meet the Ontario residency requirements as outlined by OSAP
- Be able to demonstrate financial need by submitting a budget
- Open to Lambton College students, Sarnia campus.

Selection Process
- Student Awards Coordinator will verify the eligibility of all applicants.
- After the deadline, the Student Awards Coordinator will assemble a scholarship committee in order to assess and evaluate all candidates.
- Applications will be ranked using the following weighting:
Academics 60%
Financial need 40%
