Lambton’s medium of instruction is English in all our classrooms, lectures, laboratories, and program workplace components. Strong communication skills are an essential component of academic engagement, professional development, and post-graduate success.
To be considered for admission, applicants must submit proof of English proficiency through one of the following in-person test methods:

Completion of an English pathway program at a recognized partner school
Applicants who do not meet the standard English proficiency requirements may qualify for admission by successfully completing an English language program at one of Lambton College’s recognized pathway partners. Meeting the minimum English proficiency requirements does not guarantee admission to Lambton College. Admission decisions are competitive and based on a combination of factors including language proficiency, academic performance, relevant experience, and program demand. Lambton reserves the right to require proof of proficiency in English from any applicant. This may require any applicant to complete English-language testing to demonstrate proficiency. Lambton reserves the right to add or remove language proficiency requirements or tests at any time.
