In his address to the Class of 2025, Lambton College President & CEO, Rob Kardas said that Convocation is the culmination of years of dedication.
“You have all pursued your education because you are going to do great things in your careers and in our communities, and great things are not easy. There will undoubtedly be times in your lives when things are so hard you’re not sure how you’re going to get through,” he said. “But if you’re sitting here today, there is one thing you have learned above and beyond everything else in your time at Lambton College. It’s that you can, and you will.”
Emphasizing the importance of resilience, Kardas also spoke about the impact graduates will have in the communities they serve and the crucial role they will play in shaping the lives of others through compassion and inclusion.
“I hope you feel proud. I hope you feel hope. And I hope you feel ready to make a difference,” he said. “The world is yours now, and we’re all better for it.”
