Travel Options

When you first arrive in Canada, it might take a little while to adjust to how to access various methods of transportation. Lambton College has outlined a few options:

Transportation from Toronto to Sarnia

Air Canada Landline
Air Canada Landline (Starting June 15, 2026 - To & From Toronto Pearson) Air Canada offers a motorcoach connection between Toronto Pearson Airport (Terminal 1) and Sarnia for students travelling on Air Canada flight.

    • This service allows students to book a single itinerary that includes both their flight and ground transportation.
    • Drop-off and pick-up location in Sarnia: Sarnia Chris Hadfield Airport (YZR)
    • Visit Air Canada for information.
Intercity Bus
Intercity Bus can provide seamless intercity travel between Toronto Pearson Terminal 1 and London.
Flixbus
Flixbus offers service to Toronto Pearson Airport and other locations. 

VIA Rail
From Toronto Pearson, students can take the UP Express to Union Station:

  • The UP Express is located in Terminal 1 at the Pearson Airport.
  • It is highly recommended you pre-book for both the VIA Rail and the UP Express.

Local Transportation

Sarnia Transit

A public transit bus service is available for commuting within Sarnia. For frequent users, a semester pass is available to Lambton College students at a reduced cost. Visit the Sarnia Transit website.

Taxi & Ride Share Services

Students can travel within Sarnia by booking a taxi or by using a ride share app. The following services are available in the Sarnia area:

Flix Bus
Student can travel from downtown Toronto to London. Book your Flix Bus.
Robert Q
Students can travel from Pearson International Airport to London on the Robert Q. Book your shuttle.
Huron Shores Area Transit
Students can travel throughout Bluewater, Kettle & Stony Point First Nation, Lambton Shores, North Middlesex, and South Huron. View schedule and routes.
