In this eBit, students will learn about the air quality index, the assessment of water quality, and the importance of testing air and water quality. Along the way students will also learn about the 5 fundamental types of chemical reactions and their defining features, chemical reactions that occur in the environment because of both natural processes and human activities, and quantitative analysis of a substance using titration, gravimetric analysis, combustion and colourimetry.
