At Lambton College, sustainability is more than a goal—it’s a guiding principle. The College is committed to integrating sustainable practices into every aspect of campus life, from academics and operations to community partnerships and student engagement.
The United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (UN PRME) was founded in 2007 to engage business schools globally in promoting sustainability-focused education and responsible business practices.
Lambton College's School of Business and Sustainable Leadership is committed to supporting and educating students to become future business leaders who will address significant societal challenges. The school emphasizes the belief that sustainability is a balance of environment, equity, and economy, which is the essence of responsible leadership.
The SDG Accord is a commitment made by educational institutions to inspire, celebrate, and advance the role of education in delivering the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs were adopted by world leaders in September 2015 to address urgent environmental, political, and economic challenges globally. The SDGs focus on five key areas: People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership.
Lambton College has committed to the SDG Accord and is actively working towards these goals.
We believe that everyone has a role to play in creating a sustainable future. Whether you're passionate about the environment, social equity, or diversity and inclusion, there are plenty of ways to get involved and make a difference.
