About Capstones
Be a Part of the Learning
Capstones is Lambton College's campus restaurant, and it is an applied learning environment where students in the Culinary Management and the Canadian Culinary Operations programs can apply knowledge learned in the classroom. By supporting Capstones, you're helping students gain knowledge and experience in the food industry as the restaurant exposes students to three separate settings:
- Café during the Fall Term
- Bistro during the Winter Term
- Fine Dining during the Spring Term
Dining Experiences
Take a look at the three dining experiences offered at Capstones. As the students progress through the Culinary Management and the Canadian Culinary Operations programs the dining experiences change for both the students and their customers.
Café
Featuring a rotating short-order menu, plus packaged foods and soups for grab and go.
Bistro
Take in a casual lunch setting and enjoy French homestyle cooking, classic items with modern twists, slow-cooked foods alongside weekly core menus, plus packaged foods and soups.
Chef's Table
Student chefs prepare five-course culinary creations in either an à la carte or table d'hôte option, all within a unique fine dining experience.

Open from October 10 - December 5.
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Scheduled Closures
- Closed October 17 to prepare for Corks, Caps & Cuisine event. Get your ticket through Alumni office. See you there!
- Closed study week October 24
- Closed for term December 9
