Internship Info

Obtaining an Internship

Office Administration students have the opportunity to apply classroom learning to the workplace. Internship opportunities help to provide students with practical work experience that may assist them in finding permanent employment after they graduate. Students have access to Lambton College's co-op and career advisors who provide comprehensive co-op and career development services and resources for students eligible for internship.

An optional internship for a deeper experiential learning experience in Term 4 with local employers, provides up to 180 hours of practical office experience for eligible students. The internship positions maintain a competitive process which is lucrative for both the student and the employer as well

Job opportunities in this field are available in virtually every city. From petrochemical to manufacturing, and small business to non-profit, or from education to government to law or hospital settings to medical clinics, and health and wellness offices, our students graduate with many employment options and are able to customize their careers based on their interests.
