Advanced Law Enforcement & Justice


Program Information

The Advanced Law Enforcement and Justice Ontario College Graduate Certificate program provides graduates with deeper knowledge of and insights into law enforcement. The program develops the graduate’s ability to investigate crimes using precedents, current practice and techniques, and research findings.

By demonstrating public safety leadership skills, ethics and analytical skills, this program immerses the student in strategies required to be effective in crime protection and prevention. Graduates will apply critical thinking in a wider-context rooted in theory and practical applications within diverse communities and the evolving criminal justice system.

This program is designed for post-secondary graduates and serving members within the criminal justice system who aspire to progressive positions in policing and other law-related fields through the advancement of post-secondary education.

Students entering this program are entering a Mobile Learning - Class+ Experience program. The Class+ Experience is exclusive to Lambton College, where technology inspires learning. College diploma or university degree in a related discipline

Our graduates find employment with: military police, special constables (transit police), by-law enforcement, Canada Border Services, correctional services (federal and provincial), police services — federal, provincial, regional or municipal, loss prevention/retail security, alcohol and gaming (casinos/slots), industrial/corporate security, and private security/investigation.
