Research Expertise

Abdul's past research includes developing lightweight thermoplastics for Ford Motors, simulating renewable energy storage systems at CanmetENERGY and investigating effectiveness of automated breast ultrasound systems at Sunnybrook Research Institute. His area of research expertise includes material development and mechanical thermal testing.

Bio & Academic Background

Abdul Raheem completed his undergraduate studies in chemical engineering, at the University of Waterloo, in 2017. He specialized in energy and environmental systems processes.

Abdul joined the Research & Innovation department at Lambton college in 2018 and since then he has closely worked with a variety of industry partners to meet their product development needs through materials development (formulation development, extrusions and molding) and testing (mechanical and thermal). Abdul's research focuses on recyclable materials, nano-composites, co-polymers, etc.
