Grammar High Intermediate

This grammar course has been developed for high-intermediate students who are non-native speakers of the English language. In the classroom, students encounter grammar in the context of topics of interest to themselves and the world they live in. The course evaluation places a strong emphasis on applying grammatical structures to academic writing. An online extension tool is used in the computer lab. The goal of the course is to teach increasingly difficult grammatical concepts and apply them to speaking and writing activities (CEFR B2). This course is part of the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program. As such, it would also be an excellent component add-on course for international students at Lambton College who are on pathways to higher education and who would like to supplement their diploma program with material from an EAP curriculum.
