Don’t miss Lambton College’s February 1 application deadline

SARNIA, January 10, 2017 – If you’ve got your eye on a Lambton College program for fall 2017, make sure you get your application in before the February 1 equal consideration deadline. With more than 90 full-time programs to choose from, interested students are highly encouraged to meet this important deadline to increase the likelihood of acceptance into the program or their choice.

While early applications are always encouraged, the equal consideration deadline is especially important for those students seeking a spot in one of Lambton College’s in-demand diploma programs such as Child & Youth Care, Chemical Production & Power Engineering Technology, Pre-Service Firefighter Education & Training, or Practical Nursing.

Lambton College is also pleased to introduce four new full-time programs for September 2017. Diploma programs making their debut on the fall roster include newly revamped Sports & Recreation Administration and Renovation Construction Technician programs, as well as two new Technology programs: Electrical Power Distribution & Control Technician and Workplace Safety & Prevention.

A leader in experiential learning, Lambton College is also industry renowned for programs such as Power Engineering Technology, which features a unique co-op model that’s highly regarded by provincial employers, as well as health and community services programs such Pharmacy Technician and Developmental Service Worker. Other hands-on programs to consider include Culinary Management, which immerses students in all of the facets of full-service restaurant operations including the College’s on-site restaurant, Creations Fine Dining, and a full lineup of Business programs including Accounting, Finance and Human Resources streams.

Every program at Lambton College is part of the Mobile Learning initiative which features an exclusive Class+ Experience that has students using iPad as a tool to access resources like eTexts, software, learning management systems, and apps both inside and outside of the classroom.
