About Project One Seed

Project One Seed supports over 100 villages in Zambia, Africa, teaching no-till farming to over 30,000 local farmers. This type of farming increases yields while keeping water and nutrients in the soil, decreasing erosion and using less fertilizer. This keeps carbon in the ground and CO2 out of the air. The results of One Seed have already kept over 1.5 million tonnes of CO2 out of the air and provided over 270,000 individuals with food security. With $48.8 million in new profits earned this year, farmers are sending their kids to school, building solar-powered drip irrigation and launching many new businesses all leading to a brighter tomorrow.
