There’s Still Time to Apply for College, OSAP, and Bursaries. Learn More at Return to Learn

SARNIA, August 14, 2019 – Are you still considering Lambton College for fall? Perhaps you want to learn more about the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) or other forms of Financial Aid?

On Wednesday, August 21, Lambton College will be hosting a Return to Learn session featuring services and information tailored toward students who are still interested in enrolling in a Lambton College program for September 2019. The drop-in style event will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and guests who are still considering applying to a Lambton College program will have the opportunity to chat with representatives from a variety of services and consult with Enrolment Advisors about available programs.

Some highlights of the event that might be of interest to attendees include:

  • Lambton College will pay the $95 application fee for any students who apply during the event.
  • Find out instantly if you’ve been accepted. For this event, the College will be able to provide the ontariocolleges.ca registration to applicants directly through the Office of the Registrar. Applicants still need to provide academic transcripts and will be required to pay their first term tuition in full at the time of registration, or pay a $300 deposit if they have submitted a completed OSAP application.
  • Learn more about the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) and other forms of financial assistance. All incoming students are also eligible to apply to receive a $500 General Entrance Bursary.
  • Adult Learners interested in going back to school can also find out more about Second Career funding opportunities.
  • Representatives from Lambton College’s Academic Upgrading department will be available to assist students who might be missing college prerequisites. Academic Upgrading is a free service that allows students to upgrade their academic skills in order to meet college program admission requirements.
  • Learn more about which programs still have availability. Limited spots are still available in a number of programs including Developmental Services Worker, Early Childhood Education, Massage Therapy, Office Administration, Personal Support Worker, Photography, and Power Engineering Technology programs.

For those who are unable to attend an appointment on campus, the Enrolment Team is also able to accommodate off-campus appointments, such as local coffee shops, or accept over-the-phone advising sessions.
