Lambton College to Host Last Return to Learn Information Session of the Summer

SARNIA, August 30, 2019 – There’s still time to apply to Lambton College for the coming semester – but time is running out quickly!

On Wednesday, September 4, Lambton College will be hosting a final Return to Learn session featuring services and information tailored toward learners who are still interested in enrolling for the fall semester. The drop-in style event will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Athletics & Fitness Centre foyer and guests who are still considering a full-time program for this year will have the opportunity to chat with representatives from a variety of services and consult with Enrolment Advisors about programs that have remaining seats available.

Some highlights of the event that might be of interest to incoming students include:

  • Lambton College will pay the $95 application fee for any students who apply during the event
  • Find out instantly if you’ve been accepted. For this event, the College will be able to provide the ontariocolleges.ca registration to applicants directly through the Office of the Registrar. Applicants still need to provide academic transcripts and will be required to pay their first term tuition in full at the time of registration, or pay a $300 deposit if they have submitted a completed OSAP application.
  • Learn more about the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) and other forms of financial assistance.
  • All incoming students are also eligible to apply to receive a $500 General Entrance Bursary.
  • Representatives from Lambton College’s Academic Upgrading department will be available to assist students who might be missing college prerequisites. Academic Upgrading is a free service that allows students to upgrade their academic skills in order to meet college program admission requirements.
  • Learn more about which programs still have availability. Limited spots are still available in a number of programs including Developmental Services Worker, Early Childhood Education, Liberal Studies, Massage Therapy, Office Administration, Personal Support Worker, Photography, and Power Engineering Technology programs.

Can’t attend a Return to Learn information session? The Enrolment Team is also accepting drop-in program advising sessions from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. until September 11. Interested applicants can simply check-in at the Lambton College reception desk and inquire about program information. Walk-in registrations will also be available via the Office of the Registrar until this date.
