To reduce the risks involved in hiring new employees, the Lambton New Hire Incentive Program provides eligible employers with funding for 12 weeks of on-the-job training, together with focused micro-credential-based upskilling (if needed) for
employment candidates before and during the 12-week funded employment period.
The goal of the program is to support newly hired employees to ensure their success within new full-time positions within our communities. If you have recently hired full-time employees into newly-created roles, they may also be eligible for NHIP
