In this Introductory practical course, students learn the skills required to plan and instruct a group exercise class. Topics covered include basic anatomy, class formats, use of music, choreography, cueing, monitoring techniques and successful instruction techniques. Students gain experience in the instruction of group strength training, flexibility training, and traditional group exercise.
