BCRSP-CPD Mandatory Ethics Program

BCRSP-CPD Mandatory Ethics Program | RSTH-2000

In order to maintain BCRSP certification, it is now mandatory for certificants to complete ethics training during each Continuous Professional Development (CPD) cycle. The BCRSP-CPD Mandatory Ethics Program is a fully online micro-credential designed to help certificants fulfil their ethics requirement while studying on a flexible schedule.

The BCRSP-CPD Mandatory Ethics Program micro-credential supports competency in ethical decision making, the BCRSP's Code of Conduct, professional liability and indemnity, raising ethical concerns (including disclosure and whistleblowing), and initiating and participating in the Professional Conduct & Disciplinary process. Students will also work through the Ethics and Professional Practice chapter of the OHS Body of Knowledge.

The micro-credential runs for four weeks. Within that timeframe, students have the flexibility to work through the three instructional hours of content at their own pace while getting individualized feedback from an experienced facilitator.

Students are assessed on a quiz and a case study. To receive a Pass grade, students much achieve an overall grade of 85%.

PLEASE NOTE - students who register after the course start date will be required to complete the micro-credential by the scheduled end date and will not have the full four weeks to complete the course.
