BCRSP-CPD Mandatory Ethics Program

RSTH-2000 Non-Credit

In order to maintain BCRSP certification, it is now mandatory for certificants to complete ethics training during each Continuous Professional Development (CPD) cycle. The BCRSP-CPD Mandatory Ethics Program is a fully online micro-credential designed to help certificants fulfil their ethics requirement while studying on a flexible schedule.

The BCRSP-CPD Mandatory Ethics Program micro-credential supports competency in ethical decision making, the BCRSP's Code of Conduct, professional liability and indemnity, raising ethical concerns (including disclosure and whistleblowing), and initiating and participating in the ProfessionalConduct & Disciplinary process. Students will alsowork through the Ethics and Professional Practice chapter of the OHS Body of Knowledge.

The micro-credential runs for three weeks. Within that timeframe, students have the flexibility to work through the three instructional hours of content at their own pace while getting individualized feedback from an experienced facilitator, Alan D Quilley, CRSP. Alan has over 4 decades of experience in Occupational Health and Safety management and training and has held his CRSP designation for 35 years.

Passing the micro-credential is achieved through the successful completion of an end of course assignment.

PLEASE NOTE: students who register after the course start date will be required to complete the micro-credential by the scheduled end date and will not have the full three weeks to complete the course.

There are no scheduled classes at this time. Please contact us at online@lambtoncollege.ca to find out the next start date for this course.
