Educational Pathways

Transfer to Programs within Ontario

We've worked with Ontario colleges to provide the following transfer opportunities:

Ryerson University
Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety
Graduates of the WSPP program at Lambton College must achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. WSPP students will receive a block credit of 18 courses and would be offered advanced standing into year two of the four-year degree program. They will be required to complete 19 course courses and 3 liberal studies courses.
This total of 22 courses for degree completion complies with the 50% minimum residency requirement.

Accreditations/Certifications

Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP)

Graduates of the Workplace Safety & Prevention program meet the academic requirements set out by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP), and are qualified to write the Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) examination; successful candidates will receive the CRST designation. In combination with other factors (listed on the BCRSP website), they may subsequently write the Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) examination and receive the CRSP designation.
