Carpentry Workshop

Students coming into this lab can expect to learn the fundamental practices of residential construction. This includes operating power tools for woodworking projects such as jointers, planers, table saws, drill presses, bandsaws, and compound mitre saws. Forming concrete structures, building and erecting wood framed walls, building wood roofs from scratch and installing trusses and roof shingling. Interior renovations such as hanging drywall, mudding and taping, interior trim, handing doors, trim and cabinets.
