Students learn and practice functional mobility and transfer training techniques using the new adjustable treatment tables and adaptive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers and crutches. They have opportunities to practice range of motion, therapeutic exercise techniques and modalities such as ultrasound. Students engage in case study-based learning with therapeutic activities and develop the necessary skills to select, grade and adapt meaningful activities for their clients.
