Through and In-plane Permeability of Carbon Substrates Treated with Hydrophobic Polymer (PTFE)


This project investigates the influence of hydrophobic polymer (e.g., PTFE) loading on the through-plane permeability of a series of different carbon substrates for use in proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells. Future work includes determination of the influence of MPL on permeability and porosity.
