Bio & Academic Background

Dr. Medhi Sheikhzadeh is the Dean of Research & Innovation at Lambton College and has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Western University. He is also adjunct professor at the Chemical Engineering Department at Western University. 

He has previously held the position of NSERC-Industrial Research Chair for Colleges and taught for the Instrumentation and Control Department at Lambton College. 

Dr Sheikhzadeh's research interests are process systems, advanced process control, nonlinear modelling, real time optimization, process analysis and design subjects. He has been the research lead for more than 40 collaborative projects. 

He has also accumulated seven years of industrial experience in chemical and petrochemical companies. Dr. Sheikhzadeh is the first author and co-author for more than 60 journal paper publications and conference presentations.
